Tracy South, Executive Chairperson, joined Proven in 2026. She has also served as an Operating Partner for HEP since 2023. Prior to HEP, she spent nine years with HMS Holdings Corp. where she served as Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative & Human Resources Officer. During her tenure at HMS, she led the HR function, M&A integrations, and facilities and real estate. She worked closely with the CEO, recruiting and hiring key executives who built the scalable infrastructure necessary to drive consistent growth for the company. Additionally, beginning in 2016, she and the CEO led a cultural transformation focused on effectively executing the company’s growth strategy while fueling innovation and engagement.
Prior to HMS, Tracy was the Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for Mosaic Sales Solutions (2003-2011), a PE-owned marketing services company. Additionally, she was Vice President of Human Resources for Tenet Healthcare (2002-2003) and spent over a decade with Aetna (1990-2001), ending her tenure there as Head of Human Resources for Aetna U.S. Healthcare following Aetna’s acquisition of U.S. Healthcare.
