Navispend

Navispend is an agentic AI platform that enforces contract terms on every service invoice line item before payment, preventing overpayments, fraud, waste, and abuse while automatically capturing eligible rebates and discounts at scale. Health systems and life science companies spend $200 billion plus annually on purchased services, a category where contract compliance has not historically been enforceable. Navispend consolidates each master agreement and its amendments into a single set of enforceable terms, then tests every invoice line against them and traces each exception to the exact clause or price table.

Leadership

Chris Gormley, Co-Founder and CEO, has worked on the purchased services problem since 1996 as a consultant, builder, technologist, operator, and acquirer. He began his career in McKinsey & Company’s supply chain practice and then spent six years at FreeMarkets as Vice President of Product Management, where he ran a $155 million global software and services portfolio through the company’s IPO and its acquisition by Ariba. He later served as a Director at GE HealthCare, working at Omnyx, its joint venture applying artificial intelligence to anatomic pathology. From 2015 to 2019 he was President and CEO of Medpricer, which he transformed from an underperforming services business into a software and services company and sold to Premier in October 2019. He continued to lead the successor business, Conductiv, inside Premier through 2022, where he built a first-of-its-kind regional purchased services group purchasing organization. He then co-founded SubPop Health, which was acquired by MedeAnalytics in 2024.

Chris holds five pending and issued patents and co-authored Significant Figures, the reference work on purchased services. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School and a BS in chemical engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
