Jeff has an extensive background as an entrepreneur and senior executive in the healthcare industry. Before creating Privia Health, he was Founder & CEO of BroadReach Healthcare, a company focused on creating large-scale health delivery networks in emerging markets. In less than 5 years, Jeff led BroadReach to become a widely recognized leader in global health, including securing a $100M contract from the US Government to implement an innovative private sector HIV/AIDS treatment and disease management program in South Africa. Under Jeff’s leadership, BroadReach conducted engagements and partnerships with such organizations as The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Merck, Virgin, McKinsey & Co, Harvard University, the Government of China, the World Bank, and the United Nations.

Prior to BroadReach, Jeff served as Director at The Advisory Board Company (NASDAQ: ABCO) – a healthcare technology and consulting firm representing over 2,500 hospital, pharmaceutical, and medical device member institutions. At The Advisory Board, Jeff helped to develop and manage a strategy consulting practice assisting hospitals and healthcare organizations. Previous to The Advisory Board, he served as a hospital COO, Interim CEO for two hospitals, and as one of the founding team members for the start-up and $900M public spin-off of LifePoint Hospitals (NASDAQ: LPNT) from HCA (NYSE: HCA).

Jeff is a frequent speaker on innovations in the healthcare industry, and has been asked to speak before leading through organizations such as The Council on Foreign Relations, Harvard Medical School, RAND, The Wharton School of Business, the WHO, and The Aspen Institute. He holds a master’s degree in Health Administration from The Medical College of Virginia.
